There is a tribe in Africa, who believes that being overweight is a sign of wealth. They not only force-feed girls to become obese, but also send them to camps to reach a certain level of weight. Fortunately, this is not the situation in the rest of the world. Most women wish to become slim and follow so many procedures to achieve that size two body.
Gaining weight is easy. Just have to intake a lot of fattening foods such as carbohydrates and sugar. But losing it is a struggle. Unknowingly to ourselves, we eat a lot of food that makes us gain weight and be obese. If you think about it, how many times per day do we eat? If you are in the office and it is somebody’s birthday, do we really forgo eating a piece of cake? When we go outside, if we see it on the sidewalk, do we not stop for ice cream?
Losing weight is not easy and you have to remember that every time you eat something. You may have read a thousand stories online and in print about people losing weight, various meal plans and tips and tricks they followed etc. What you have to remember is different strategies work for different people. You cannot simply follow one just because another person did. So, again, remember this when you eat something!
What to Eat?
So, if you are not supposed to eat anything and everything you see, then what can you eat? Easy. Make your own meal plan. Read online and get some idea about the calories in each food item, how fast they burn out, what sort of impact they have on your body and so on. For example, if you are used to eating a bagel every day for breakfast do you know how many calories it is adding to your body?
Do you eat a sweetened bagel every day? How much sugar does it add to your bloodstream? Once you get to know some of this information you might never want to eat a bagel ever again! However, it is worthwhile to know what you are eating and adjust accordingly. Don’t forget to drink a lot of water as well. How Important Is Exercising?
Exercising your body is of utmost importance. Even without thinking about it, we walk and sometimes run, move about and take stairs every day. If you didn’t have any health problems as yet, even after eating a lot of stuff, this could be the reason. Imagine if you follow a structured workout method! Even if you do, that doesn’t mean you have to go to a gym or buy one of those expensive machines. You can simply go for a walk or run in the morning, or walk your pet after work.
You can achieve a slim body by engaging in day-to-day tasks productively. For example, when you are at the office instead of taking the elevator, take the stairs. Instead of using a food delivery app, walk out and buy something. And walk back to the office. If you want to talk to a colleague, without telephoning or using a chat app walk to that person even if he’s a few floors up.
